Magic Lofts are project managed and constructed this loft conversion in Aberdare. This loft was required to incorporate a new bedroom for visiting guests and double up as a reading/chill out room. Pre construction, Magic Lofts' surveyor did the scale structural plans and successfully applied for the "Certificate Of Lawfulness" under Permitted Development from RCT Council, Building Control were notified of the project and regular site visits arranged. Construction started November 2017.

Scaffolding erected, back of roof opened for access, floor level steel girders fitted, floor joists fitted and noggined, dwarf walls built.

Framed up for keylite roof window and 3 x windows fitted. 1st fix electrics installed.

Insulated and plasterboarded. 1st fix plumbing installed for radiator.

2nd floor ceiling and wall removed, stairs fitted, studs finished and plasterboarded, holes cut ready for spotlights and sockets, plastering done, roof patched back in.

2nd fix carpentry, 2nd fix electrics, 2nd fix plumbing.

Big site clean up. Building Control final visit.
